This is the official announcement of THE TOTALLY BIASED STAND UP TOUR presented by my friends at FXX! Joining me will be a rotating lineup of the amazing Totally Biased writers, including Kevin Avery, Guy Branum, Janine Brito, Kevin Kataoka, Dwayne Kennedy, Hari Kondabolu and Aparna Nancherla. All shows will feature us doing standup followed by a Q&A. Tickets are on sale RIGHT NOW so follow this link for more info!
The exciting thing about this tour for me is that I get to go to some of my favorite cities AND cities I’ve never performed in. I’m looking at you San Diego, Boston, Atlanta and Orlando. Hopefully one of these cities is somewhere near you! We cannot wait for this tour, it is going to be a great time!
This week, Totally Biased welcomes Reggie Watts to the stage for a literally unique performance: watch Reggie freestyle a song for the “TB” audience, as well as this behind-the-scenes footage of him warming up. Every song Reggie does is like a funky snowflake—watch them here now because you’ll never see them anywhere else.
If you haven’t been lucky enough to come to a live taping of “Totally Biased,” now’s your chance to see a little more what it’s like with Emily Heller, the audience warm-up. Take a look and fall in love with Emily like we all have!
Last Friday, the entire “Totally Biased” writing staff (plus audience warm-up comic Emily Heller, who’ll you’ll meet shortly) performed again at Union Hall in Brooklyn. Some guy named W. Kamau Bell also dropped in to say hello and the crowd seemed to be glad to see him—who knew? Check out some photos:
Last night, Kamau got the band back together at Union Hall in Brooklyn for a show with Laughter Against the Machine, the comedy collective made up of Kamau and “Totally Biased” writers Janine Brito and Nato Green. Also on board were fellow writers Hari Kondabolu and Dwayne Kennedy, as well as friend of the show Baratunde Thurston. Video footage is coming soon, but in the meantime, check out a few photos from the event:
